Chassis: Constructed
of rectangular tubing and cross bracing, with 1" thick
steel plate for front and rear bumpers. Service box on one
side is for hydraulic components and optional propane
bottle, with fold-down and lift-off covers. The other side
has a service box with the hydraulic tank and gas tank
inside; it also has fold-down and lift-off covers. The
engine has a sheet metal hood over it and a grille in front
of the engine.
Drive system: Uses
48 cubic inch per revolution wheel motors. High speed, in
series, is 2.7 mph and low speed, in parallel, is 1.4 mph.
Creep speed, when the platform is above 7' is 0.75 mph.
4-wheel drive includes two additional series/parallel
valves. Flow divider/combiner valves prevent any wheel motor
from slipping.
Accessibility: The
accessibility to hydraulic components is unobstructed when
the side covers are removed. Engine accessibility to check
oil and air cleaner is easy without removing the bolt on
hood. For engine replacement the hood can be removed.
Platform controls:
Are in a fiberglass NEMA electrical enclosure that is
removable with a quick release plug.
Power Source: All
"gas powered" V-Series machines come standard with
a Kubota WG750 23 HP water cooled engine or a Kubota water
cooled diesel engine as an option.
Ground controls: All
electrical components, relays, switches, diodes, terminal
strips, emergency stop are all in a NEMA electrical
enclosure conveniently located on the chassis over the left
rear wheel for easy serviceability.
Standards: All
CONDOR units are constructed to current ANSI and CSA
specifications.
